Since we never had a blog before this is an experiment to find out how it works. We will be leaving in a couple of weeks for Vietnam and I guess it would be easier to keep a travel journal this way that just sending emails. We shall see.
The visa process has been greatly improved to get into Vietnam. No need to send in your passport and hope to get it back in time or at all. We just went on line and sent in a request with a small fee. In a few days we received a letter via email that we will use to get our visa when we arrive in Ho Chi Minh City.
